About DaybetterLights.com
DaybetterLights.com is an independent product-review site focused on Daybetter LED strip lights. We started in 2024 after Daybetter's catalog grew on Amazon and shoppers needed an honest, side-by-side comparison of the five kits they sell.
Editorial independence
We buy every Daybetter kit we review at full retail from Amazon. We do not accept free hardware from Daybetter or any LED manufacturer. Our editorial team is based in the United States and has no marketing relationship with the brand.
Affiliate disclosure
When you click an Amazon link on this site and buy something, Amazon pays us a small commission (typically 1-4% of the sale). This is at no extra cost to you. We make money from those commissions regardless of which Daybetter (or competitor) you pick, so we have every incentive to be honest about which kit actually fits your room.
Testing methodology
Each Daybetter kit goes through five bench tests and a real-room rotation:
- Brightness - lux meter at 1 m from the strip on full white at the 100% setting.
- Color accuracy - measured against a reference RGB card under a controlled-temperature room.
- Music sync responsiveness - tested with bass-heavy and acoustic tracks at 60 dB and 75 dB.
- App pairing time - timed from first power-on to controllable state in the Daybetter app.
- Adhesive hold - 14 days on painted drywall, 14 days on a glossy ceiling tile.
Our writers
The DaybetterLights editorial team is anchored by two consumer-electronics writers (combined 12 years of byline work on smart-home and lighting topics) plus an electrical engineer who runs the bench tests. We name reviewers in product post bylines where appropriate.
Corrections policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it in place and add a correction note at the bottom of the article. Spotted an error? Email [email protected] and we'll respond within two business days.
