Testing methodology

Each Daybetter kit goes through five bench tests and a real-room rotation:

1. Brightness - lux meter at 1 m from the strip on full white at the 100% setting.
2. Color accuracy - measured against a reference RGB card under a controlled-temperature room.
3. Music sync responsiveness - tested with bass-heavy and acoustic tracks at 60 dB and 75 dB.
4. App pairing time - timed from first power-on to controllable state in the Daybetter app.
5. Adhesive hold - 14 days on painted drywall, 14 days on a glossy ceiling tile.
